Players are recent immigrants to the newly populated island of Catan. Expand your colony through the building of settlements, roads, and villages by harvesting commodities from the land around you. Trade sheep, lumber, bricks and grain for a settlement, bricks and wood for a road, or try to complete other combinations for more advanced buildings, services and specials. Trade with other players, or at local seaports to get resources you might lack. The first player to achieve 10 points from a combination of roads, settlements, and special cards wins. This is a multi-round tournament sponsored by Mayfair Games. Instruments available to players are guitar, bass, drums or vocals as they hit the road as either an aspiring superstar solo act, or for the first time in game genre history take on the true collaborative and challenging nature of music as they form a band and jam together in multiplayer action from home or around the world. Either way players will need to master their stage presence through the various game modes and polish their rock chops via the unrivaled Rock Band song list if they hope to make it out of the garage, into the clubs and finally on to the main stage. The geeks are in full force and some serious fun is about to go down. Little do our unsuspecting friends suspect the terror that awaits them. Indeed, a couple of radioactive, shape-shifting, flesh-craving, coblins have escaped from a nearby agricultural research facility and are intent on getting their grub on. Can the players use their wits (and other assorted faculties) to figure out who the coblins are and dispose of them before everyone ends up in a corny gullet? We shall see, my friends. We shall see... Coblin Chaos is a really fun game based on the popular Mafia party game, originally invented by Dimma Davidoff in 1986. Players take on various roles, including Some Guy, The GM, The Neenja, and carnivorous Coblins. The goal is to wheedle out the coblins and destroy them before they eat everyone at the con.
