Tonks & the Aurors at Oddmall and Con on the Cob! Wizard Rock invades Northern Ohio.

Tonks & the Aurors is a Wizard Rock band that was founded in August 2007 and originally based out of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Fronted by Steph Anderson, the band quickly gained popularity among wizard rock fans after Matt Maggiacomo of the Whomping Willows dubbed Steph “The Bruce Springsteen of Wizard Rock”. Since those early days, Tonks & the Aurors has been extremely prolific in their musical releases, and has gained the attention from news sources such as TIME Magazine, The Detroit Free Press, and Paste Magazine, along with many local periodicals and blogs.

Whether playing as a solo acoustic act or full band, Tonks & the Aurors brings thoughtful lyrics, vocal intensity, and joy to every performance. They’ve played libraries, galleries, houses, and schools without missing a beat.

When not working on Wizard Rock, Steph Anderson works as an Arts Administrator, teaches guitar, and works for Apple Computers, out of Cincinnati, Ohio where she recently relocated.

Tonks & the Aurors will be performing at Oddmall: Emporium of the Weird at the John S. Knight Center on May 10 and at Con on the Cob at the Clarion Hotel in Hudson on October 18.
